TESTIMONY OF HEALING NEWS The following is a testimony from Jen, a brand new young lady in our church… On November 29, 2009, the Lord Jesus took away the abdominal pain I have suffered with since the summer of 2008. Not only did the cause of this pain baffle me, but it also stumped the physicians and healthcare providers who cared for me. The abdominal pain impacted every area of my life every day. The pain caused hemorrhaging, intestinal complications, nausea, back pain, fatigue, irritability and other problems. In an attempt to find the cause and remedy the pain, I had several ultrasounds, a CT scan, a colonoscopy, a battery of blood tests and over six months of physical therapy. With no cause or relief in sight, the doctors determined that a total hysterectomy was the only way to take care of this problem. Getting approval from the insurance for the hysterectomy was no easy task. Insurance denied my surgery five times - one time was less than twenty-four hours before the surgery was to take place. It was over a year after the pain began that I was finally approved for surgery. I was so excited at the thought of being pain-free! After I awoke from surgery, the doctor explained what had “caused” my abdominal pain – apparently my uterus was “glued” to my abdominal wall with scar tissue, the inner lining of my uterus had grown into the muscle wall of my uterus, my left fallopian tube had “glued” itself to my colon and my colon was twisted and bound together with scar tissue. The hysterectomy, which took place on July 20, 2009, brought about a resolution to my pain. This relief, however, lasted only four weeks. The pain returned along with all of the other symptoms. As you can imagine, I was disappointed and angered to know that my uterus was removed to take care of the pain, yet the pain returned. On October 25th, 2009, I came to Faith Apostolic Church for the first time. It was on this day that I truly saw God and His beautiful church. The Lord Jesus blessed me with the Gift of the Holy Spirit, evidenced by speaking in other tongues. On November 15th, 2009, I committed to God and received the water baptism. All of my sins were washed away and all the barriers were removed. As my faith and relationship with God has grown, amazing things have been happening. On November 29th, 2009 the church prayed for me to be healed from abdominal pain. The pain immediately left! I am so thankful for the healing powers of our Lord. I am finally pain free and I know I will stay that way. The Lord Jesus has healed me! Thanks be to God!
