HAITI UDATE: JANUARY 27TH NEWS
Just a few days ago, we returned from our trip to Haiti. It was overwhelming to see the utter devastation from the recent earthquakes. Many of the Haitian people have lost their homes and are without basic necessities such as food, water and shelter. Authorities are still unsure of the actual number of deaths but it is certain the death toll is horrific.

Last week, Faith Apostolic Church was on the frontlines of the earthquake aftermath – delivering several tons of food, water and supplies to approximately fifteen churches that we are connected with in Haiti. A team from our church flew to the Dominican Republic where we rented a large box truck, purchased the supplies and drove them across the border into Haiti to deliver the supplies to the church people. I am so glad to be part of a church that does more than just “talk about” ministry and missions – we actually dive in and put action with our words. You can see a complete video documentary of the trip on our website soon!

We are still in need of financial contributions to continue taking relief to Haiti. We are currently making plans to take supplies as well as help the local churches rebuild their buildings that were decimated by the quake. You can contribute to this cause by following the “Donate Here” link and choosing “Haiti Relief.”
